Hyper Extension Machine
by Yukon
Hyper
Extension Machine by Yukon strengthens & develops your
back and isolates gluteus maximus & hamstring muscles for
superb definition. Of course you can also perform roman
chair sit-ups to work your abdominals. But, this roman chair was designed to
allow for an additional exercise called the glute/hams
developer. Quick adjustments
accommodate all users and the traction enhanced Foot Plate allows secure
positioning during use of this hyper extension machine.
FAST FACTS ABOUT FEATURES:
Foam rollers are fully
adjustable up & down and out & back to accommodate any size
user.
Thick 8" Pad for Comfort.
Non-Slip Foot Plate
Built-in.
Difficulty level:
Intermediate to Advanced.
BENEFITS TO THE USER/BUYER: When you buy this machine you can do more than just the
typical back extension and and crunch/sit-ups.This
Hyper Extension Machine by Yukon is easily adjustable to
accommodate for the
Glute/Ham Developer
exercise. The ankle pads and footplate adjust up &
down and forward & backward for variable distance and height
options. The rounded pelvic pad is also necessary for this
exercise. Remember, you save money on higher-quality Weight Training machines by shipping
them directly to your house!
So how does the glute/ham
developer exercise
work?
Lock your feet on footplate and
ankle pads. Rest your hips on the pelvic pad and stretch down.
Now, either put hands on the chest or behind the neck.
Then pull back up using the entire back, glutes and hamstrings
to bring your body back like a normal hyperextension, but then
continue on up by bending your knees while pulling your heels to
your glutes. Notice how the knees bend. It's like a prone
reverse leg curl, except your whole body is used as the weight
instead of a pulley and weight plate.
The ULTIMATE WORKOUT on Video CD The back extension is one of the three exercises that are performed in the
